Just stumbled across this. It's The Long Tomorrow that really got to me at the end. The absurdity, the matter of fact explanations of something profound, the cities, the organic horror from mutations and the like, the non-chalant ways the characters meet danger and/or talk to eachother. It's totally reminiscent of Nihei! I'm betting Nihei got inspired quite a bit by Moebius.

I really wish I could get my hands on more of Moebius' works, even online.
