A roguelike game would be perfect:
1.It's easily doable by independent amateur programmers
2.It isn't too complex, enabling to focus on specific aspects rather than on building the world
3.A massive multiplayer online roguelike could be hosted on any computer(having in mind I've a friend who hosted some years ago, the mmorpg ragnarok online wich requires a lot more memory and cpu usage than a roguelike), meaning there would be more mobility(if the server went down, there would be another person hosting and so on).
4.I have the knowlege to do a roguelike game, never done one but I've seen some algorythms and they're not that complicated, meaning not only people with programming knowlege could participate.
Also as an idea, the cyberdungeon could randomize itself every 24h, and people would start on a completely diferent location each time

Of course, you could be a Human or Silicon Creature. I don't like the idea of an MMORPG though. Rather, a game for PS4 ^^ Killy is trying to make is way out of the megastructure. And in the process you must find food, water, scan people for the right DNA, help out others, kill Silicon creatures, maybe collect things you'll need later like keys, passwords, maps, or maybe even bits of DNA.
It will be the longest game ever, largest scale, etc. If you forget something or miss something, guess what. You have to go all the way back and find it. But don't worry; anywhere Killy has been you have mapped out; just push 'Start'. Also remember that Killy can see very far. If you ever make it to a large open area, anything you can see no matter how far is then mapped.
That's how I'd like it.

Ok, I got quite the bit of inspiration from Gasmasktrooper. If you have a problem with it because of this, please tell me.
Races (can be chosen by the player):
Leveling up and EXP have their parts here, but are extremely downplayed. Think Devil May Cry.
If not in some sort of group with other players/NPC's players will be given the choice to randomly appear somewhere in the Megastructure or in some sort of large General City area that can be accessed by many players.
Also, if teleporters/downloaders can be found, they can be operated by a player whose class can control it. It can only be used by scientists and the like. They also cannot be used by humans. Finally, they require a certain amount of charging time between uses.
-Humans: High intelligence, but weak STR and moderately weak Armor/weaponry, can gain NPC allies from whatever tribe/corporation they are from easily depending on rank/level. All humans can use surroundings for battle purposes but only scientists or workers can alter them to make them more advanced (i.e. use a metal shard or the like, and possibly change it to something useful). Often only fairly large contingents/tribes within the groups and led by one human. They can have free quests or be given quests by Game masters depending on their class.
-Silicon Creatures: Very High STR. Armor strength is above moderate. Intelligence varies with Class (the lowest is moderate though). All characters can use environments for their purposes, but only Scientists and Alchemists can advance their forms. A Silicon Creature can lead a small contingent of other SC’s. They can have free quests or be given quests by Game masters depending on their rank (E.G. If they lead a contingent).
-Safe Guard: Very High Strength, High Armor, Moderate Intelligence. Hierarchy plays a big part here. SafeGuards can only get quests/campaigns/whatever if given by a Game Master (like the others). Safeguards can also leave the protection of the Netsphere and become potential targets of other Safeguard Units. Other Safeguards (Exterminators below class two) can only be summoned if the player is an Armored Humanoid Safeguard. Highest level Safeguards can create quests for themselves and other Safeguards who are interested but they must be approved by the Game Master.
CLASSES
For People:
Scientist
Worker
Soldier
Corporate
Mercenary
Net-fisher
Mecha pilot (think first chapter)
Planter
Synthetic Human
Mechanically enhanced warrior
WEAPONS:
200 mm armor piercing machinegun (like chapter 4, effectiveness varies)
Beam rifle
Pulse Bolt rifle
Battlemecha (characteristics vary)
Armor Piercing energy-tipped sword
Gravitational Discharge Unit
Specialized heavy weaponry (only for Mechanically enhanced warrior)
CLASSES
For Silicon Creature
Tracker
Scientist
Guard
Mecha Pilot
Blademaster
Gunmaster
Omnifighter
Monster
Hacker-Electokinetic
Alchemist (Kind of like that Advanced Cyborg that was performing a “transmutation”)
WEAPONS:
Launching blades attached to high tension metal wires
Pulse Cannon
Shell spray cannon
Energy rod/needle gun
Safeguard Sword
Safeguard Sword and Silicon Creature Shield (must be a guard)
Chain Gun / Gatling gun/ Vulcan Cannon/ whatever you want to call it
Missile launcher
Battlemecha (characteristics vary)
Electrical wires/tendrils
Specialized blade weapons (varies)
Telekinetic Glaive (Like a Safeguard Sword only it is like a bladed staff – see Silicon General weapons Chapter 63)
Order Staff (from NOiSE)
CLASSES
For Safeguard:
Independent Exterminator (can rise through levels)
Armored Humanoid (Think Dhomo, Killy, Sanakan, Etc. – Can rise through levels)
Watchman
WEAPONS
Gravitational Beam Emitter (Access to size and power varies depending on character level)
High power shell pistol/handgun
Explosive Shell Spray Gun
Shell Spray Rifle
Quad barrel gravitational burst emission pistol/handgun (AKA Dhomo’s gun…)
Electrical Rod (Cibo’s weapon in Book 7 and 8,)
Safeguard Sword (They never use it in BLAME! But maybe they should have the choice to use it…I mean, considering the name and all…)
Weapons can be made from the environment (For example, Like that iron pole or that gun stained with blood…)
Platoons/Contingents/Tribes can be made from players that agree to join or even NPC’s that have been picked by the leader. They must be of the same race or a very similar race to join (This can be considered co-op).
Also, deathmatch environments like Slayer and stuff if players accept. Contingent deathmatches can also take place if contingents accept. NPC’s can be used here.
Campaigns can be designed for these contingents or even loner/freelance players by the game masters.
Anyone like it?
