imaginary, I'd say that Time Warp track fits like a glove.
oh..
I just remembered of a streaming site that has some great ambient stuff that could fit well in any Blame! manga...
Ah, right. www.bluemars.org They rock

I would have to say maybe velvet Acid Christ beats...I dont rlly dig his lyrics but I like his beats. But the best track in my opinion would be "Deep Metal Mechanic" song - "Trapped" can be found on this page I think it would be perfect.

I registered to post in this thread. It is my personal opinion that the OP was very correct in metnioning Four Tet and Boards of Canada. Another good group to listen to while reading this would be Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I think the slow buildup and sudden climaxes are perfect for Blame!.

i listened to allot of wile reading. (you can dL/listen at the link)
It is (cyber)mechanically - it is dramatical - it sounds like dark distant future - it sounds like cyborgs in distress - it sounds like a vast and lonely megastructure
Dark drones and soundscapes are nice too... because they do not distract.

Newk, I'd say you're right on. Some of that would be PERFECT for some of the actions scenes.

psi trance and ambient works followed me all the way though Nihei's works. Interspersed every so often by selected classical tracks from Holtz, Samuel Barber and others I found it most appropriate.
Composer wise I think Kenji Kawai or Taku Iwasaki would handle scoring Blame very well.
Personally I don't care for lyrics with my cyberdungeon quests. Differant notes for differant folks of course.
