mmmh i just watched episode 6 from the blame dvd and in the last 10 seconds the lift girl (from the first volume of the manga) says her name is cibo... now is that cibo from yet another dimension or do you think this isn't related to the manga at all? |

I think that the "data" on the Salvage Disk has been kind of damaged. I menat cibi never got decapitated in the manga, so this might just be something that got screwed up during the process of recovering data |

The animated logs really don't have anything to do with the manga at all. Nihei didn't have anything to do with the making of them, either. Hmm.. Funny, when it says "my name is Cibo", it looks like Killy's the one saying "Cibo." -Jenshin |

In Blame Academy, she is a separate character (watches PCell talk to Dhomo from a roof) credited as "wolf woman". It might not be canonical but Nihei did write it, didn't he? I'm positive he had less control over the webanime. I think it establishes a basis for considering them separate characters. |

oh yeah i remember that "wolf woman" bit in blame academy... so the anime producer must have confused those two white-haired girls... but i wonder why nihei didn't have a last look at the anime to point that error out to the producers... |

The anime was made totally independant from Nihei. He had no say in it whatsoever. |

Ah. I thought Nihei had something to do with those animated clips. I too thought it odd that that girl with the dog from the lift said her name was Cibo. Also I noticed Cibo loses her head in another clip. I was tying to remember where that was in the manga and when I went looking I couldn't find it. I sure hope when/if they make a full Blame! animated film or series they don't screw around with it like that. -Xenos |
