Ah yeah, I remember first hearing about that place in Shenmue 2. Oddly enough Hong Kong seemed more grittier on that game while that place looked more like a giant Asian hick dumpster between a bunch of ruins. I'd like to visit China some day, though if I ever wanna go to some place risky besides safe tourism in Beijing and Shanghai I've only considered either Hong Kong or Hainan. EDIT: *actually reads the article* It doesn't exist anymore?! |

Hey, I could have visited the park that replaced it in the summer! I actually stayed in Kowloon for a little less than a week... ah well. That's pretty cool, though. Definitely some shots that reminded me of Blame!. |

Yeah its demolished... WHYYYYYYYYYYY?? It would have been a dump ofcourse, but who cares where else are you going to find dystopian settlements these days? Hong kong isn't to bad though, dunno about hainan. I actually knew of this place before I actually figured out there was such a thing as cyberpunk. After a few months the pieces fell together and now I know where to search for my favorite genre! @Luciola Well the park wouldn't be the same as the city, but hell its better than nothing right? I liked the video best, it's such a dark and weird labyrinth. |
