maybe he just don't put as much effort in his new series as in blame! or noise...
I think he's just experimenting... oh well lets put it this way: I personally hope it..

I don't know...it doesn't look like experimentation to me. He's not trying out new techniques, he's just sketching and not doing the hard work of filling out the incredible detail he had in Noise and Blame. Maybe he made so much money off of Blame that he doesn't feel he needs to put so much effort into it anymore. Ah, well, everyone rests on their laurels eventually.

I can see how he would be liked in Europe but not in Japan. His style is very (consciously, I think) Western, not Japanese. It's certainly not a typical manga style. Still, I was under the impression that Blame sold well in Japan and that's why it was translated to overseas markets. No?
