Maybe Nihei got sick of having the main character getting kicked around [Killy] and decided to make this main character everlasting in a different way.
By being completely untouchable.
He had a nice suit though.
I guess I'll just appreciate it's artwork. Shouldn't blame him for not having any creativity on it, he couldn't exactly make a whole volume right then and there. So he wrapped it up quickly. Just happened to be way too quickly.
EDIT: Nothing but love for sceadu.

Thanks a ton Sceadu, even though I wasn't a fan of the story, the translation was much apreciated. It seemed a bit too short and abreviated to me. I like the art style, barely any screen tones were used. It was just too short to make a good fight scene, no room for a complex battle. I'd like to see it expanded into something deeper that has more substance. good concept, not so good execution.

First, Digimortal was very good. And like everyone said, it was too short, and the history isn't that original. But its Nihei's work, so even with the most unoriginal history it will always have a different feeling.
Second, i was looking an old post and found this image of Abara: http://ultra.shueisha.co.jp/UJ102/UJ102Pin_A.html
Isn't Digimortal the guy in the image?

so much so that I beleive it is.
I'm just looking forward to him getting that messed up.

Nope, it's not him. Digimortal is more like an ABARA "prototype," the actual stories aren't related at all. Think of Deadheads -> Biomega and the BLAME! one-shot in NOiSE.
Although they look similar, Digimortal appears to be wearing armor... In ABARA, Kudou's body actually transforms. He even uses the teeth as a weapon (he has no scythe).
Anyway... I'm trying to fast-track it, but the translation is much more complicated this time. Those of you who thought Digimortal was too light on story will probably be satisfied.

Is ABARA finshed? Or is it going longer then one issue?
Was it this in month's Ultra Jump?
Also, what is NSE published in? I was thinking of subscribing to it.
