The similarity is rather striking and if the robot really appers in episode 1, then Lucas was first ![]() Nihei also is a Wolverine fan and influenced either by Alien or H.R. Ginger, thus, lets say he was influenced b that machine design^^ Anyway compared to the old movies, ep. 1-3 sucked and they managed to make the worst thing even more worse and did this CGI movie which is a joke, simply. (Just wanted to say that.) |

Wings as 'legs' is hardly the exclusive realm of science fiction. You'd be surprised how many real old aircraft designs had wheels mounted on downward angled wingtips. And look at nature. Bats and flying foxes to name a couple of animals that their limbs as both legs and wings. No harm in giving artists a little more benefit of the doubt as to how they find inspiration for their ideas ![]() |
