It's like Nihei-sensei just wanted to finish "Biomega" as soon as possible. Kinda sad, isn't it? Well... it's only matter of time when it would be fully scanlated. Maybe after re-readin whole thing things would be more clear, or it can be like "Blame!" with continual conversations about almost all little and small things in it. |

Reload wasnt found on mars. She was the only survivor of the mars catastrophe. A summary of what Narain explained to Fuyu: 700 years ago something like an.... insect was found on mars. Upon preliminary examination, it appeared to be a fossil. But, it is said, when it came into contact with moisture, it started walking on its seven legs. It soon became apparent this tiny lifeform was a host to parasitic microbes. Tissue resembling the ovules of a plant was growing in its body. At the same time a woman with a genome radically different from the norm was found on earth. Her name was Reload. She had tweny-four chromosome pairs and was in spite of her youthful appearance seemingly over 300 years old. From time to time her body would secrete small amounts of substance not unlike plastic. Clumps of pollenlike matter. The material binding of the particles turned out to be a polymer with unique properties. The reverse phase imaging polymer. The same polymer was found in the martian bug. The pollen is the male aspect, and the ovule is the female. Attempts to pollunate the ovules on mars were successful. As the ovules matured the host organism died. Something emerged. We still dont know exactly what. We dont know because chaos broke out on mars and the colony collapsed. The cause of the disaster was the parasites adapting to human physiology....the drone hazard. 200 years later, a person of unique talents is born. Nyaldee. She could understand everything she touched, that was her gift. She read the minds of living creatures like she read the very thoughts of the ancients, absorbed into the pillars of historic ruins. Nyaldee´s predecessor, the founder and original head of the DRF, feared her, and sealed the polymer and the international mooring cable before disappearing. I, took extreme precautions as to not have her read my mind. At any rate her ability is genuine. The location and intentions touched by the spores, is never a secret to Nyaldee. „Recreator“. Nyaldee´s designation for the plant. All things affected by the reverse imaging polymer, be it buildings, electronic devices or magnetic media, are changed in accordance with some sort of code. The ovule ripens acording to the wishes of the host. In Yion Green´s body there is a special kind of spores. |
