Thanks, Red! Hm, it became a bit more clear after the second read but still, the syle is too Biomega-ish for me. Many white areas, little white sparks randomly over the panel, white tentacles everywhere. Chapter three and Sidonia hasn't gained one additional point for me. |

My first impression of the chapter: BOOBS!!! Other than that, can´t say I didn´t like it. But maybe that´s just because of the BOOBS!!! |

Ey I can't get my avatar to work either. And that boobs comment made me check this out. I now feel slightly guilty b/c I was one of the few in between who clamored for Nihei to do Evangelion assuming it wouldn't be too annoyingly character driven. Lo' and behold, this does look more or less like Nihei's EVA but it does have to be character driven. Good grief... Eh maybe he's really broke, this might be very popular with mecha fans, maybe he needs their money and an anime deal real bad. He's like Nintendo now with the Wii ( and soon, every other videogame company with consoles on their mind ). Good for him. I can only blame myself if I don't like it. |

I was dissapointed with the action in this chapter. Blame had awesome gun fights Abara had awesome "speed" fights.. Biomega had awesome gun fights and awesome speed fights. Knights doesn't have anything of a wow factor in their except for the giant bullet shot at the end. This is the first fight scene so I'll guess it'll get better later on. I enjoy the more human like characters but I do not want this to be a character driven manga. I'd rather have the plot interesting. Also what was the guana trying to do? Communicate with the humans? |
