In the German the translation of "level" describes a storey or floor of a building ("Ebene") but and in volume 10 of the manga "level 9" is translated equally to "floor 9", but in the omanga translation, "level 9" is meant as an character attribute, like "Level 9 Dragon" or whatever in classic role playing games.
In the first case, all trouble is about a special region, i guess the translators thought about the place, killy reaches in the last logs here; whereas in the second case it's all about the transformed cibo. what do you think is the right translation here?

Well, seeing that I translated Vol 10 for Omanga, I'd say that I'm right.
Seriously though, it's 'レベル9' (pronounced re-be-ru 9, or level 9) in the original Japanese manga, not '9階' (9th storey/floor/level). As far as I know, 'レベル' does not refer to a storey or floor of a building, but is often used to talk about a standard or degree of value...

According to the French version and some notes I got from the Japanese, the Level 9 isn't a floor at all but the ultimate Safeguard ^^ (the respawning of Cibo)

Umm... I was wondering about what is Level 9 - not in Blame! but i meet term in lots of SF, manga, games, movies, books etc. - they use sign Level 9 to mark "perfect creature" or highest level creature...
Dont ask me why, becouse i dont know or get it, but as i said, i found this on many places...

9 is a power number in numerology and mythology. There are nine Norse worlds, for example. It is powerful because it is a trinity of trinities; 3x3.
I noticed that the island-city in Biomega is called 9JO.
