Also I'm not sure it's a good idea to licence the anime before the manga (if it'll ever be licenced in english). If I had seen the anime before the manga, I would've been like "WTF ?!", and I'm not sure this will make people be interested into Blame!. For me reading the first book and being totally lost in it is one of the ebst experience reading somtehing (well ok, I don't read much, not to say at all  but anyway, the atmosphere of book 1 was soooo great !)
