Cool. I'm thinking Biomega might be related to BLAME! after all. Did anyone notice in the chart at the end that it said the N5S virus stopped aging upon infection? Maybe Killy's body isn't silicon based like I thought, perhaps he is really just a human adapted to the N5S like Yion.

No way. He's a digital human, a safeguard modified human. Get off it.

Well, I think that could be all the possibilities above.
First, the vrius gives to the infected person an awesome capacity of regeneration and not letting it age. Those who not become zombies are like Yion and, maybe, the Butcher in the first volume. And like we were discussing , some people are capable of adapt to the virus, other only resist it. The ones who adapt, regenerate themselves and don't age, the ones who resist, only survive. The guys from the Public Health want to be the first ones, or want some way to simulate the ability to regenerate.
But also there is the synthetic life, like Zouchi, that can survive the virus too (and we don't know if he can age or not). He was developed to be some kind of battery for his bike, that is some kind of weapon. Somehow, it is very like Killy, that can store tons of energy and use it to fire the GBE.
And speaking of Killy, I think that the guys from the GA utilized some kind of technology based on the N5S virus to create the silicon life. I don't think Killy is like a safeguard, compare him to Sanakan, they are very differnet, principally about their regenerative abilities. Killy is more like upgraded synthetic human, with some safeguard traits.

I think the same, syntax, I was only comparing Killy with Zouchi. But the weapon in question, that they talk about in the chart at the end of the chapter is the one the he uses at the end of the first volume or the bike itself.
And thinking about it... Could the GBE work outside the Megastructure? The THI could be considered to be "outside" the Megastructure, and there the GBE didn't work. This means that it is dependent of the GA and the SG, and they are dependent of the Megastructure (actually are part of it). So a GBE could exist before or outside the Megastructure?
And the guy in NSE probably can't use the GBE (alright, first I'm considerating that he somehow had access to it), because the GA and SG don't exist anymore, then he must use a pre-GBE weapon, like Zouchi...

yeeehaa, first thing I found when I looked through my manga bookmarks was that a new biomega chapter is out.
well this was a real suprise!
and whats even more better is that the guys from evil genius doing biomega again, so we get biomega AND abara simultaneously.
finally, there is a progress on the nihei front
