being how shonen biomega is from the outset that's expected. I personally thing the worse thing was the Halo graphic novel. But that that's a personal bias

I'm not even close to being a Halo fan and I still enjoyed it. You must have a real dislike for the game.

I don't really see what the problem is with Nihei expanding his horizons outside his own universe. He likes X-Men, he likes Halo, so it's really no surprise to me that he'd do things along those lines. The only thing I'd fear him doing is a short story on Korn.

I like to imagine what if Nihei makes Shoujo manga? That is a chilling possibility.
