in Blame! 3 and 4 we have this giant „monster“ that looks like the great cthulhu (from H.P. Lovecraft) on LSD.....the one with the tentacles and the GBE in its mouth, that wants to kill all the electric fishers, when they try to enter toha industries.....
Beside being a safeguardmonster and a sentient weapon it also seems to be a transporter....
....it can shoot rocket-“seeds“ from which safeguard are created (downloaded?).
Then in Blame! 9 log56 Killy fights this silicone life, which looks exactly like the cthuloid safeguard monster.
Do the silicis actually steal all the safeguard technologies ??
In this version we see the monster flying at great speed, instead of just hovering.
After Killy has defeated the thing it dissolves and a silicium creature falls out of it (the pilot) and it looks like Cibo......
Do you think Cibos body is just a generic model, maybe like a fashion, resembling a certain beauty ideal in the Blame! world ?

Manga is not to blame for emo.
Emo is to blame for emo.

I agree. I do believe that Sanakan and Cibo are the ideal "beauty" of the BLAME! world. They are both people who end up giving emotion to Killy, Let me post some more later................too tired.

The tentacled Silicon Creature Killy fights toward the end is just a vehicle, and the female SC inside is the pilot. You'll notice that when Killy first encounters the tentacle creature, it looks more like a fighter plane with its tentacles stretched out wide, and it fires at him with what look like machineguns.
The big Safeguard isn't very similar to it. It's just a big tentacled creature that carries the smaller SGs around with it. One major piece of SG technology the SC appear to lack is the GBE... which is probably a good thing.
