Got a point there.
Sadly it was demolished in '93. It was an Awesome "Building", though I wouldn't want to live in it, a visit would be quite interesting. Must be the closest experience to parts of Killy's travels.
As an architect Nihei was probably even more fascinated by such a construction.
There are even some videos of Kowloon on youtube, some give a nice view into the "Megastructure".
