I want ANIME, full Blame anime.
if there is more money to make it I think it can be perfect

I want a Blame! anime in the same style as the promos, with more detail. I would trade a Berserk anime for that.

This might've already been mentioned, but the studio working on the Blame CGI movie (Micott and Basara) went bankrupt, mainly because the Appleseed movies kept bombing. Yes sir, 24 million dollars of debt truly hampers the creative process. I don't know about the general opinion on Appleseed, but it didn't help that the visual style was firmly stuck in the uncanny valley, if not totally trapped and knocked unconscious under a pile of rocks.

Production IG worked on the backgrounds and it's possible--but very unlikely--that they will resurrect the project. They already have that other seminal cyberpunk opus on their record. It might show my naive optimism, but considering Nihei has fans in high places with fat pockets all over the world, funding is still possible for a movie. We just have to put faith in Nihei's diplomatic skills (which are undoubtedly more than simply a series of ellipses).
