Hi! I'm an art student, I found out about Blame! when a classmate compared my sketches to Nihei's stuff. What a compliment! Anyway, I read books 2-5 or so online, since they were scanned and translated at Omanga. Only yesterday was I finally able to read the first book; I finally found it at Japantown. I have yet to finish the series, though so no spoilers please! Anyway, I don't know which I like more: Nihei's awe-inspiring architecture or his beautifully twisted characters. After reading Blame! number one, I was inspired to draw this: Click on it for a bigger and better one. Anyway, I'm glad to join a forum filled with like-minded Blame! readers. |
