This is a sketch I found in my artbook, which I then scanned in and did an *extremely* rough and quick colouring job on.
I can't actually remember whether I copied this creature from the manga or not, but I think it was just inspired by it. Eventually I'd like to colour it properly and give it a background because I'm quite pleased with it overall, especially the face.
Critique/ideas welcome.

It seems pretty skillful for fan art, although I'm no expert. The only critique I can make is the colours you've chose - I dunno if those red spots or the green tunic are the best colour choices. If I were you I'd go entirely with that sort of washed out brown you're using for most of the tunic. Not sure what to suggest for the gems though.

I think you're right about the colours - I was just playing around here, but I think the green does need to go. I'm thinking I'll give it a more black/grey, metallic surface, just to make it a bit more Blame-esque,
