It's not straightforward fan-art, but it's very much inspired by Nihei's work, so I thought it'd be ok to post it here. It's basically my own version of Digimortal's armour, with which I was aiming for a more medieval look rather than a futuristic one. The idea of a special suit of armour that empowered its wearer just appealed to me, so after a lot of doodles with various designs this is what I ended up with:
