Well this is my first post, so hello to everyone. I've been meaning to be active in this forum, but I haven't found the time...
Anyway, here's a fanart I did of Killy recently. Not too shabby I suppose, but I do hope to improve (so constructive critiques are nice! ).
I have another picture of Killy, but it's even more crappy than this one. ^^;

Sort of a mix between an early and late style (nearly tempted to say model.) Killy.
Only a couple niggles. His eyes aren't quite centered in their sockets which seems a little weird. And his nose is a bit too... er... nubby. xD
Pretty cool rendition otherwise.
Welcome to the Netsphere.

I'm gonna be a harsh critic because you said you felt uncomfortable about the face, so this will hopefully explain why it looks a bit funny. First of all, the top is too boxy. the top of his head should be a bit more round instead of having corners. Second, the mouth and bottom of the nose are too low. It makes Killy look as though he has no chin. You may also want to bring down the corners of the jaw. On a standard human, they tend to come down to about the same level as the corner of the mouth. in anime it tends to be a bit higher or even just a constant curve, but yours is a little too much so.
As I noted before, I'm being really picky with some of this, so take my critique a bit lightly. Also, I'm no expert either, so I may have either missed some stuff or even gotten some of it wrong. You definately did some stuff well too. The shading is quite well done, and the highlights on the hair are quite good.
