I got to know this series a few weeks ago, and it looks promissing... I mean, Samurai Champloo was great, and the same guy is making this series too. There were 3 or 4 small pictures of it in the recent Newtype magazine, if you guys are interested about it. By the way, does anyone know when it'll start?

Anybody have a synopsis of the premise? The site was less than forthcoming. Too many generic cyberpunk animes out there. I hope this one has some original ideas, because the art style looks unexceptional. |

Awesome! I was just thinking how there hasn't been any good cyberpunk anime, or anything else for that matter, recently. These guys seem to have the style down pat, and besides, I loved Samurai Champloo. The heroine's makeup looks like a slight wink to Blade Runner, which is always welcome. The director also did Witch Hunter Robin, the screenplay is by the same guy who did GITS: SAC, and Samurai Champloo; what's there not to love? (Okay, so the name seems nonsensical, but besides that) I'll keep my eyes peeled for this one. |
