Hmmm, I think not XD When I saw that exterminator-thingies, I had slight deja vu, but not with blame!. To me, they move almost exactly like that dolls in the final scenes of GITS2: Innocence, that inertia in their moves. Their looks may be just coincidence, its pretty generic design for robo-killers XD But that part with the girl falling underwater remind me of Nihei. And if we speak about inspirations, that guy have Auron-type collar and Guts-type machine-crossbow (okay, fishermen-type  )

I definitely think there's some NiheInspiration here! Sure the robos' faces aren't very exterminator like and the clothing's way off, but I was thinking: ...mmm...A redhead Cibo and a blonde Killy. Then there's the environment, how the characters interact with each other / the roles they play (it's not much, but hey it's a music video), and the water scene. And it's French *gasp* The country from which Nihei got some of his inspiration. I know some people will say all or most but I think he's just integrated a good deal of it into his naturally Japanese style. And the ending. BLAME! !!!! (you know, except for the arrow of course...) Awesome find! |
