Dark electro makes this manga even more intensive.

The only music I could ever see for Blame! is old school industrial. Read Blame! while listening to Nurse With Wound. It fits perfectly.

Fuck! I wanted to write such a topic but it's already there..

I do think it's better to read a good manga with an appropriate music

(Ok I really enjoyed to read cute ones like yotsubato! with Death-Metal like Gojira or Eths; may not seem appropriate but the contrast is really pleasant)


With Blame! or Biomega, it'll be for me rather Drone/doom bands

Hmm not long ago I found some nice music that fits Blame! reading Its called Hecq. Sounds like nice dark ambient mixed with some drone and electro parts Heres some samples.

from Bach suite #5 Prelude

The mood is perfect match for BLAME! the sombre colours, sullen atmosphere, layering waves of errie yet determined sounds, just like the cold concrets in the endless mega-city but the expansiveness whispers an underlying vigor and hope, so frail and vague yet you believe in it nonetheless.
