Just another level safeguard. Domochevky also don't have GBE but with help from Iko another safeguard in his team, he can easily stop Killy. The Safegard seem to be created in their level with some specific weapon at start although they can use other weapon when need.

@Sogekral,
Who said those safeguards were "new"? I always interpreted that as a flashback or memory of killy. Like he was one of those three and one was Sanakan. Remember how she asked him if his functions were back to normal? They already knew each other. I think those pictures are memories. Like the one with the dog.

Well, that last page is not the only page where someone has a gas mask. In the last pages of the penultimate vol there's an image of a .
I don't know if it has a real connection... but is something, isn't it? xD
