They are cyberpunkish games, yet i wouldn't recommend them if you are looking for action

From what I've been reading, purist fans of the first two Deus Ex have been annoyed by how action oriented the next game is being hyped up to be. Then you got gems like these in the tie-in comic from DC:



If it were me, I'd be pissed off b/c they're making the protagonist look a little too much as if Gordon Freeman's running around Appleseed.

i heard it too but i think dev's messed up making the game playable in many ways trying to appeal more kind of gamers at the same time. Now one of the main complaints is this game looks boring...not saying i know something about the game others don't, but i wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for action. There are better games providing such thing

Prey 2 looks very nice. It's maybe not a dark sci fi, but it looks like a fun alien hunting, running and gunning on alien spacestation some realy nasty bad guys Anyway just check out the CG from game or some game play video

That new Deus Ex we were talking about is out now though, I'd try it but I'm kinda busy with Snake Eater and Bioshock.

i'm watching a walkthrough of de3 right know. I think the game is pretty easy, the story is good and keeps you interested until the end. But it really sucks it's a fps.

And did I say I'm busy with Bioshock lately? Yeah, wrote that before sitting down and playing it and I'm glad it was only $20 b/c I sorta didn't like it. I'll keep my Elyisia from Prime 3 Corruption.
