Hi! I'm from Tokyo,Japan.
I found BLAME! in the Afternoon(Afternoon is Japanese monthly magazine) when high school student. well..... ABARA just started with Ultrajump on the June. and why do you have 2 versions of volume 9? the symbol at the bottom looks like the egmont adult button, is this true?

I'm from Toronto, Canada. Only one other person I know who knows about and likes Nihei here. The dark, architectural style of Blame caught my attention in a sea of look-alike mangas, and I couldn't stop reading it.
Manga in general was very low-profile until last year, when all of a sudden every major bookstore installed shelves of the stuff. I guess anime culture eventually turned to manga culture. I suspect only when people get sick of the same bishounen and bishoujo manga will they turn to more interesting fare like Blame.
