I donned my Silicon Creature shirt i got with the OVA and went to borders(book store) today to buy the manga. Read it kinda fast (i have a hard time slowing down). I like it much better than the scanlations, feels better as a tangible object. Yeah, Tokyopop did cut a few mm off of the sides of the wider panels . I may buy the japanese version just for collection purposes(i'm the typical monolingal american).

I found a store that carries the JP version, and i have volumes one and seven (they're missing 2-6 and 10). it's definately worth the buy. For some reason it's just better to see the original how the artist wanted.
P.S.: Sweet!, my emoticon got added! I'll try and make more later.

My friend was in tokyo last month and bought all 10 volumes for me (even though I already had the tenth given to me by tsutomu nihei himself). It was very nice of him to even think of me being in such an exciting place. All I need now is Noise. I'll worry about all those other ones when they get all sorted out and finished. I wish they would publish a one shot volume or something that would have all his little stories like Zeb Noid, Deadheads, Blame Academy, etc.
