I've been thinking on who could interpretate the role on Sanakan in the movie of Blame! (Anyday on future), and of course I see The power of Sanakan inside the cutest body of mi goddess Christina Ricci, so, what you think could best fit (if possible) in the role of Sanakan? (or Shibo/Killy/Sew etc)
Take a look at this, her faces fits each other as two drops of water.

that is seriously scary. Could you post the original, unedited pic of Christina Ricci? I think this deserves a full photoshopping.

Idunno, she might be able to work, this picture isn't very good source material though, even that tiny bit of smile kind of ruins it.

Can't think of anyone else for Sanakan.
When I was reading the US copy of volume 2 today, i couldn't help but think that Charlize Theron would be great fir Cibo. The page when she firsts appears, well when she's healthy and first appears, she looks just like her.
I've been meaning to get back into comics related photo manips, maybe I can fine time to get that one.
I want to make a Killy one, but I have no clue who to cast. Somewhat random thoughts of actors were Jason Behr or Cillian Murphy.

I for one prefer animated characters
It's nice when a character is a character and not an actor. Particularily not a well known actor.

Yeah, seriously, no Wachowskis, please.
There's a French full-CG sci-fi movie in a noir style coming out soon. (They're using complete black-on-white with minimal 50% gray for glass.) It's supposed to be getting a big studio release in America too, so if that works out well I'd like to see a CG BLAME! movie. I vote for the Toha arc.

Héhé
I guess you're talking about "Renaissance" ?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renaissance_%28film%29
I saw it, it was cool, though not amaizing. Well the movie is a bit to much thriller oriented to fit my tastes.
The pure B&W style is a bit... mmh... to B&W^^
At some point your mind is screaming for some grey shade.
Emulating a comic look is still hard (well at least my attemps with 3DS Max and various renderer^^), but I'm sure some big studio could work out something pretty cool with different shades of grey and a hand-drawn style.

I think Christina Ricci should have blurry eyes...
But who can play Killy? Mayby Tetsuji Tamayama? Or Takeshi Kaneshiro?
