I think Ghost in the Shell is worth reading, gread artwork and story, just beautiful

I read Five Star Stories.
A well-known mang ain Japan, almost unknown in the rest of the world.
It started in 1986 and is still unfinished, and will still be for a while, the author, Mamoru Nagano, draws everything alone but takes his time^^.

It's pre-published in japanese Newtype since the beginning.

It's a big sotry, a sort of space-opera, with wars fights, magic. It takes place in the future (space ship, lazer weapons, etc), but there are a lot of different styles, some magic, some dragons, sort of almighty lifeform, a LOT of characters, and the most beautiful mecha I have ever seen : the Mortarheadds.


And there are a lot of them, at least 70 different models...

The drawing in the first books is a bit aged now, but the new ones are simply beautiful.

Goth is an adorably beautiful manga. (There is a maniac that looks like Seu from BLAME! - hope Seu never did things like him) But the end is really... dissappointing. >_< Nobody dies!

I can suggest these manga:

Anne Freaks: A boy kills his parents and then a girl shows up and helps burying his mother. It gets really odd.

Bleach: Ichigo Kurosaki, 15 years old, Occupation: Student. Shinigami. That's about it. I just love the characterisation of Ichigo.

Naruto: Overrated, way overrated, but a good manga nontheless.

Eden: it's an endless world[/b]: Cruel, nasty, ugly. But a damned good manga.

That's about all I read.

well I advice Elfenlied or Gantz. both have very interesting stories and characters!

If you like very strange mangas you may read Maken X or Dorohedoro
