Hmm, sometimes when I listen to Starlight by Muse or Map of the Problematique by Muse I had visions of the Megastructure in my mind. They're cool songs!  And maybe Seu's soundtrack would be Knights of Cydonia by Muse.

a really awesome japanese industrial band, with a similar aesthetic
the god of noise
though for a lot of it, I'd say the ghost in the shell movie music would work...with its juxtaposition of traditional and new.

Call me crazy, but whenever I read Blame! I get "Passion" by Utada Hikaru stuck in my head... back in the day, it was the only song on my sister's ancient laptop that I was borrowing. And for whatever reason, it just seems to fit the mood sometimes.
