(the more posts you write the higher your rank gets)
at the moment i only have one rank, that is "human".
50 posts: Builder
100 posts: Silicon Creature
200 posts: Safeguard

The only one I didn't like from the ones you proposed was "molecular shockwave gun"; besides the fact that the most accepted name for it is Gravitational Beam Emitter or GBE, I think we best stick to character names or descriptions, instead of objects.

I propose:
-"Level 9", must be high-ranking but not top-most.
-"Governing Agency Representative", again high-ranking but lower than L9
-"Exterminator" (i.e. the most basic safeguard), should be below any other Safeguard title.
-"Self-Aware AI", not sure where this one should go in rank; maybe that makes it a poor candidate.
-"Electronic Knight", like the chapter title in reference of Seu. Should probably be just below Self-Aware AI (i.e. Mensab).
-"Net Gene Carrier", this should be the top-most rank.
-"Chief Scientist" (i.e. Cibo) should probably be in there somewhere as well.

If I think of any other, I'll just edit them in here. (you can edit, right?)

What about the Silicon Creatures, they can kill exterminators and 'most' safeguards??? I think we need to mention them as well.

The problem with Silicon Creatures is that they don't have explicit ranks, or at least we never heard about them, save for the "new model" they encountered in Toha.

201-300: Safeguard Major (invented that one, assuming thay have internal ranking)
301-400: Electric Knight

751-1000: Level 9
1001-1500: Governing Agency Representative
1500-2000:Chief Scientist
2000+:Net Gene Carrier

Silicon creatures are advanced Cyborgs ^.^
I think that the creatures in the first Blame book are more cyborg then Silicon creatures....
But I can't proof it.....

Hey! What happened to Net Gene Carrier? That was a cool ranking. Apart from that some minor corrections and comments:
- Level 9 should be above Governing Agency Representative.
- What is hunter?
- I don't know about you but I prefer Electronic Knight to Electric Knight.
